Intersurgical Achieves Business Growth Through Membership of UKprocure Systems eMarketplace

Intersurgical, a leading manufacturer and supplier of integrated respiratory care products, has announced that it has grown its business with specific customers within the NHS by around twelve per cent, partly as a result of its membership of the UKprocure Systems eMarketplace.

A member of the UKprocure Systems eMarketplace since 2001, Intersurgical has made its entire product portfolio available to the UK's largest healthcare eCommerce community. NHS organisations can source and purchase Intersurgical's products via the UKprocure Systems eMarketplace, whilst reducing error rates and the associated costs to virtually zero. This has helped NHS organisations to reduce the total cost of acquisition of Intersurgical products, at the same time as rationalising the procurement process and spending. Based on the success of its membership to the UKprocure Systems eMarketplace, Intersurgical is now involved in a pilot of the UKprocure Systems electronic invoicing (eInvoicing) solution with Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust.
